Olek Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Hello, I've problem with entering the world with aesir. When I'm in character select i can swap in between my characters, but when i click enter literally nothing happens. No error or warnings in game console or server. Any idea what it might be?
Temtaime Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Hello. Seems char server rejects the connection and sends some info paket like(map server is closed / you are not permitted to enter) and the message on the client side is not implemented. Check account state and char server's log. In near future build i'll add flag to enable network debug so one will be able to see what server is really replying.
Temtaime Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Also you can check packet version and disable packet obfuscation, then recompile the server.
Olek Posted September 2, 2018 Author Posted September 2, 2018 (edited) Well, I still did not managed to fix it, but i've found that there is few packets that our client receive, and they're classified as unrecognized. I've recompiled aesir with logging turned off, and log function fixed. That's what i get when i click 'enter' button: it seems there is no response from the map server, right? Im using new version of hercules. I've changed packetver to 20170517; I've also turned off pincode check. Unfortunately i cannot find obfuscation in files and on herc forums. Any idea what it might be? Thanks Edited September 2, 2018 by Olek Ofc both, client and server are rebuilt.
Temtaime Posted September 5, 2018 Posted September 5, 2018 This weekend i'll check it on latest herc server, please wait a little.
EduardoFrost Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 obfuscation is located in src / conf / packets.hpp

Olek Posted September 6, 2018 Author Posted September 6, 2018 Ah, there is no hurry, I've managed to run it on rAthena.
